First off, drain the juice of the cherries by simply emptying the jar over a sieve. Catch the juice in a bowl.
1 jar Morello cherries
Crack the eggs into a large bowl.
3 eggs
Add the sugar and vanilla extract and mix well.
1/2 cup sugar, 1 tsp vanilla extract
Now gradually add the melted butter along with the milk and heavy cream.
4 tbsp melted butter, 1 cup milk, 1/2 cup heavy cream
Sieve the flour and whisk it into the liquid.
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
Grease the baking dish and fill in the batter.
Scatter the cherries on top of the batter
Bake in the preheated oven at 180 Degrees Celcius/350F for 30 minutes
